One Year of Purpose Coaching Overview and Agreement:

The Lifetogether One Year of Purpose Coaching Community is a one year program that seeks to connect your congregation (average weekend attendance) into community over the course of the next 12 months together. There are numerous facets to this program but listed below are the critical components that will define the nature of our relationship over the next year.

This one year journey is flexible to any size or season of your church. Whether your church is a 100 years old or a new church plant; Baptist or Presbyterian; Urban or Rural; established Sunday school or just starting an off campus small group Ministry this will work for you... We are going to help you connect your congregation into community and help them reach their community for Christ. Not over night like 40 Days but over time.

You will be joined by 20-40 others Churches (depending on your size) who are seeking to discover the proven and potential ways to:

1. Connect 100% of your congregation by the end of the year
2. Create healthy balanced groups (that multiply for missions and mobilize for ministry)
3. Cultivate unlimited leaders throughout your church (including children and youth)
4. Coach and train your small group staff and volunteer leaders
5. Catalyze your congregation to reach your community through community

Here are the details of the Coaching program as well as the general guidelines to help you get the most out of the program.

The top ten core deliverables in the program include:

• Participant church to be one of up to 25-50 Churches (depending on program option)
• All Churches will be provided with a call-in line for you, staff and volunteers
• Presentations to be provided via a combination of telephone conference calls, emails and/or Internet Delivery (WebEx or similar)
• Primary communications is via email to LifeTogether staff and your LifeTogether coach

1. Annual LifeTogether Summit – a central gathering of all the participating churches in southern California near Saddleback Church.

2. One Year of Purpose templates to be used by you to formulate your one year plan. This will be completely customized for your church based off existing schedules, resources and staffing needs. The templates include:
   a. Church Wide Health Assessmentfor the Church, each ministry, small groups and individual
   b. One Year Ministry Plan based on the five purposes
   c. Customized Annual Calendar
   

3. Kick off Conference Call
   You will be notified of the kick off conference call two – four weeks in advance of the start date. We recommend having your Senior Pastor on this initial call, then once a month as minimum participation we will help you connect with your new coaching community and establish the ground rules for how we will help each church accomplish their designated goals.

4. Six Weeks of Church Staff Training Teleconferences. One copy of Launching LifeTogether (coaching series for Pastors and Church Leaders teaching the foundation for building a healthy, long-term small group ministry plan for your church) will be provided to each church. This training is concurrent with the weekly conference Calls
   1. Week 1 – Healthy small group ministry overview
   2. Week 2 – Recruiting unlimited volunteer leaders
   3. Week 3 – Connecting 100% of your congregation
   4. Week 4 – Training new and existing leaders
   5. Week 5 – Coaching Leaders for life
   6. Week 6 – Looking Ahead, sustaining and strengthening your small group ministry

5. Weekly one hour Teleconference calls using the internet Web-Ex like service (no additional cost). Your calls will be complemented by power point presentations and collaboration.
   1. Week 1 – Monthly shared planning sessions - Progress/Problems/Plans Reviewing monthly goals and objectives
   2. Week 2 – Case Study Reviews - – Successful churches sharing best practices (4 per session)
   3. Week 3 – Special Guests and Topics - based off group lists and priorities
   4. Week 4 – Open Forum – Selected Topics – top three problems and solutions

6. Transferable Tools helping to make you more effective and to multiply your time:
   1. Small group leader and member template newsletters (monthly and weekly formats)
   2. 100's of small group stories and illustrations helping you create online devotions for each series
   3. Healthy church planning process for every group, leader, staff and pastor.

7. Shared access to “best practice” resources from other churches in the coaching program & “lessons learned” from other consulting churches (to be provided by partners from your group and other churches) – a virtual library for your church to use including:
   1. Video Clips & transcripts
   2. Effective bulletin inserts
   3. Creative invitations
   4. Promotional materials
   5. Recruitment transcripts
   6. Drama scripts
   7. Small group curriculum

8. Small group leader training and coaching resources
   1. Training Outlines and transferable ideas
   2. Recruitment Scripts for both leaders and members
   3. Sermon and Leadership Training Transcripts
   4. Web Coaching Tools and Training
   5. Stories and Strategies on all five purposes

9. Special Discounts and Opportunities
   1. Receive 10% off of the entire Lifetogether published curriculum and DVD resources
   2. Plus 20-40% on all other resources, this could cover 50-100% of the cost of the program itself.
   3. Attend all LifeTogether Pastor Forums for free

10. Personal Coaching Sessions
    Based on the size of your church Lifetogether is offering 2-4 individual coaching sessions hosted by your Lifetogether coach. The larger the church the more individual sessions is provided.

Some final details in closing, you’ll be responsible for your own expenses in the program (travel to the Annual Conference, etc) and any additional materials are not included in the Coaching program. You also agree to provide us with printed and where available, electronic & video copies of materials used for training and communication in your campaign for us to share with other churches as examples.
